1300 US 41 South, Paulding, MI 49912 - Bond Falls Scenic Site is home to one of the most picturesque falls in the Midwest. You’ll be in awe of the area’s astounding natural beauty as you explore the cascading falls along 600 feet of fully accessible boardwalk with six viewing locations and three viewing platforms.
The majesty and beauty of the Northwoods winter landscape also offers a plethora of recreational activities, including snowmobiling, cross-county skiing, snowshoeing or ice fishing. Several downhill ski areas are within a one-hour drive.
Enjoy a day of biking through peaceful forests on the Land O' Lakes Pedestrian Trail, an inviting 7.5 mile 10 foot wide paved path leading west from Land O' Lakes along Hwy. B to Forest Lake Road.
Hikers and mountain bikers can now enjoy 10.5 miles of the the recently revitalized Agonikak National Recreation Trail. Eventually both of these trails will become part of the Wilderness Lakes Trail System, the premier biking and hiking destination in the Midwest.
Within a 30-mile radius of the Gateway are many small towns featuring central shopping districts, including downtown Land O’ Lakes — where you will find everything from antiques and beaded jewelry to fine clothing and Navajo rugs.
Also worth noting is the Town of Boulder Junction. This attractive town is laid out so that you can walk from one end to the other while visiting many specialty shops along the way, including those operated by local woodworkers and artists.

The first recorded sighting of the Paulding Light was in 1966 when a group of teenagers reported the light to a local sheriff. Since then, a number of other individuals have reported seeing the mysterious light, which is said to appear nearly every night at the site. The light appears in a valley outside of Paulding, Michigan, in the Upper Peninsula, near Watersmeet off US 45 on Robbins Pond Road/Old US 45.
